Byron View Farm

An intimate retreat perched on the highest hilltop of the Byron Hinterland

Drive up an old country dirt road framed by white oleanders and you’ll arrive on the highest hilltop of the Byron Shire, taking in almost 360 degree ocean to mountain views. And just when you thought that was the wow factor, there’s a growing rainforest of 40,000 native species, resident horses and alpacas. Yes. Alpacas.

Considered one of the most breathtaking views in Byron Bay, Byron View Farm is perched in the stillness of the hinterland yet just a 10 minute drive to Byron’s town and white sand beaches, so you get to decide just how to enjoy your time.

You’ll call the designer private white cottage home, soaking in the endless views from the spacious, wrap-around verandah. The cottage is as luxurious as it is comfortable, as it is quirky – pure designer heaven with luxury linens, furnishings, light filled spaces and Aesop bath products.

The cottage is fully-self contained and private, with everything you need to not ever leave… if you’d prefer to cook at home than go out. With one beautiful bedroom, and a queen daybed that can be made up upon request it’s perfect for your intimate getaway.

Wake to witness the sunrise from bed with a hot cuppa. And for your afternoon, settle in on the verandah to watch the most magical hinterland sunset before dinner. Take time to explore and learn more about Byron View Farm’s commitment to rewild the land through a rainforest regeneration project, that includes attracting the endangered Richmond Birdwing butterfly.

A luxury solo escape or with one or two of your closest girlfriends. Who says a hens party or girls getaway has to be with a massive group anyway? Take someone who’ll be happy to go solo exploring around the property’s 40 acres, whilst you unapologetically curl up for an afternoon nap or delve into a 1:1 Masterclass.

“Absolute paradise! Spending the day so cosy from sunrise to sunset being able to escape to this heavenly cottage made all my dreams come true. Luxury finishings and touches, kindness of our hosts and so much to explore. It was a perfect solo creative retreat and I can’t wait to be back again”.
